NCPA presents DWAARAM - THE AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF THE DOOR, a musical dance theatre by Vani Ganapathy & Sathyanarayana Raju. Dwaaram portrays the Door as the narrator presenting stories from Indian mythology and Indian philosophy. It describes the impressions and reminisces of a door in all its variations through the pancha maha dwarams: Raja Dwaram, the door of a palace; Veera Dwaram, the door of the fort; Gruha Dwaram, the door of the humble abode or dwelling; Deva Dwaram, the door of the temple; Atma Dwaram, the door of the soul, the inner door.
