Dr. Tushar Guha’s Nrityanjali & Dr. Anonna Guha present ANURATI. Dance is an expression of self and emotion. For centuries it has been a part of various cultures – from primitive man to the modern urban individual. Emotion is an integral aspect of the Indian heritage of dance. The strongest emotion that binds people together is Love. We define Love as mutual respect and understanding and its dimensions are many. Anurati (Love) will explore these various dimensions – togetherness, love for self (body, mind, soul) through the physicality of movements (nritta), romanticism, love for nature, love for the almighty, love for the community. Anurati will be reflected through Kathak, Bharatanatyam and Indian Folk Dances, by the young dancers of Dr. Tushar Guha’s Nrityanjali and Dr. Anonna Guha.
