Mudhra, an arts organisation and music magazine will be conducting the 18th session of its one week- Music Appreciation Programme, designed for Rasikas and music students from May 21 to 27, daily 6.15 pm to 8.15 pm. At Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan Hall, East Mada Street, Mylapore. The programme will discuss topics including introduction to different forms of music, fundamentals of Carnatic music, concert format, study of different musical forms sung in concerts, creative aspects, raga and tala structure, role of accompaniments, easy methods to become familiar with common ragas, say the organisers.
