The stage is set for this year's June Rock Out Festival. Positioned as "Rock…Experienced", JRO '07. Out of the 41 entries received from all over the country, the JRO selction panel has short listed 14 bands to play at the two day festival. The line up includes Skrat (Chennai), Blood Covenant (Chennai), Pipers (Bangalore), Native Tongue (Hyderabad), Buzz Theory (Chennai), Human Abstract (Mumbai) and Evergreen (Kochi) on June 15 and Public Issue (Chennai), Brainstrorm (Chennai), Half Step Down (Delhi), Black Hole Theory (Pune), Nerverek (Chennai), Hobos (Kolkata) and After Burn (Chennai) on June 16. The diverse line up seeks to cater for all floor, body painting and food stalls are the other attractions at the event. With ''Responsible Rock" being the mantra of the event, this year the cause is to raise funds for building a rehabilitation centre for widows in Vayaloor, Mahabalipuram.
