Yakshagana is a traditional theatre form combining dance, music, dialogue, costume-makeup and stage techniques with a distinct style and form. Artistes bring their body, mind, spirit and oration to the rhythm to entertain the audience.
Dharmangada Digvijaya is a play where prince ‘Dharmangada’ of kingdom ‘Ayodhya’ goes on a conquest to prove his ability to be an emperor with a promise to his father that he will pursue the traditional ritual of ‘Ekadasi’, the day of prayer, fasting and abstinence even in the battlefield. Please come and experience the rest of the story on this night of dance and drama.
