Every year Lalitha Kalalayam-Bombay confers Nritya Ranjini Award to those who are well experienced in the art field, are expert gurus and have given good contribution to the art field. This year NRITYA RANJINI AWARD 2007 goes to Deepak Mazumdar from Mumbai on the 17th annual day celebration of Lalitha Kalalayam on 4th August 2007 Sunanda Nair of USA will perform Mohiniattam and Deepak Mazumdar will perform Bharatanatyam. The highlight of the evening will be a visual art manifestation of RITU SAMHARA of poet Kalidasa directed by guru Lalitha Kalalayam Nambisan, Mumbai.
