As we welcome the beautiful changing colors of September, we are gearing up
for our upcoming exhibition and events here at Tamarind Art.
We are delighted to announce the opening of Silent Soliloquy, a solo
exhibition of paintings by Kamal Mitra on 6 September 2007.
It was almost a year ago in November 2006 we had the pleasure of presenting
Kamal Mitra to you. Kamal took the New York art scene with a storm. Today he is
one of the most promising and sought-after artists of his generation. An
introvert by nature, he mesmerized the audience by painting in situ at the
opening reception in 2006. Guests crowded around his easel as images began to
appear from the blank, white canvas.
Opening reception: 6 September 2007 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm The artist will be
present at the reception
