The Nassau County Parks Department's International Music Nights Concert Series kicks off with Punjabi American Night at the Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre in Eisenhower Park on Sunday, June 22, at 7:30 p.m., announced Nassau County Executive Thomas R. Suozzi.
The program will feature the history and culture of Punjab, including the Vibrant Beat of Dhol, Punjabi poetry and folk songs, and Punjabi Bhangra & Gidda.
Special guests include our Master of Ceremonies, Geeta Citygirl (daughter of Nassau County residents, Asha and Raj Chopra).
