The incomparable trumpeter, percussionist and composer Ray Vega is an innovator in New York's jazz and latin music scene. Vega's contemporary approach merges the sounds of jazz with world music. A veteran of several bands, including those of Tito Puente, Mango Santamaria and Larry Harlow, Ray Vega now leads three of his own bands - The Ray Vega Quartet, The Ray Vega Sextet and Ray Vega's New York Concert Jazz Ensemble.
