Cast: Deepak Kumar, Varshini, RishiDirection: P SantoshGenre: RomanceDuration: 2 hours 15 minutes
Synopsis: Its love at first sight for Swathi, a college student, who falls in love with her neighbour Vikram. Just when they are about to enter wedlock, Swati's parents come to know about Vikram's horoscope and call off the wedding.
Movie Review: The film has an interesting plot, but the amateur screenplay made the film uninteresting. There is no emotional connect - particularly the romantic track between Swathi and Rishi. In fact there is no romance. The scenes lost its sensitivity and it makes mockery of a decent premise.
The filmmaker's inexperience shows up especially during the romantic scenes. Perhaps he should have done some home work as he failed to reach the expectations. The movie is sloppy piece of work and lack of gripping narration, coupled with poorly written scenes makes it a tedious experience.
It reeks of bad direction - there is no attention to detail for several scenes, and there are several logical flaws and abrupt changes of scenes and jumps in screenplay. At times the film tends to drag. The film somehow does not bring out the nuances of the emotion of love and in the end; he spins out a mish-mash.
The film failed both in terms of story telling, and in bringing out the required emotional depth. The lead actors put their best effort, but to no avail. Vikram and Rishi's performances hardly exude warmth.
