Ethir Neechal - Making Waves

'Ethir Neechal' is one of the few films to regularly occupy a space in the news columns right from the day it was announced.
For, the movie is the maiden production venture of National Award winning actor Dhanush. It has music by Anirudh, and this is his second venture after the much talked about '3'.
And besides just producing, Dhanush has penned a couple of songs too, which are making waves in audio circles.
With VJ-turned-actor Siva Karthikeyan playing the lead role, 'Ethir Neechal' is directed by debutant Durai Senthilkumar. Priya Anand of 'Nootrenbadhu' fame is the leading lady.
Durai Senthilkumar, a former associate of Balumahendra and Vetrimaran, is said to have penned a gripping script that will impress the audience.
Says Dhanush, "I decided to produce Ethir Neechal the moment Durai Senthilkumar narrated the script to me. It's such a beautiful storyline."
He adds: "And Siva Karthikeyan is the right choice to play the lead role. I am happy that everyone in Ethir Neechal team have given their best."
On his part, Siva Karthikeyan says, "I am happy that I play the lead role in the maiden production venture of Dhanush. I am sure Ethir Neechal will be liked by one and all."
Priya Anand says, "I was looking for a good subject when I got the offer to be part of Ethir Neechal. I want to do more such roles in the future
