Cast: Satya, Rakul Preet, Sanjay Bharati, Vignesh, Jagapathi Babu, Suresh Mysore Direction: Vijay AdirajGenre: DramaDuration: 2 hours 29 minutes
Synopsis: For Mohan (Satya), Radha (Sanjay) and Antony (Vignesh), each day is a fight to make ends meet. One such day, Satya gets a lead to several crores of stashed up money. They begin to mend their lives with the ill-found wealth, until the owner comes to claim it.
Review: ' Puthagam' gets off to a great start with Vinayaka Mansion in Triplicane as the narrator. Thanks to RJ Balaji's quirky introduction of the lead cast and incidents, we settle into our seats.
TV actor-turned-director Vijay Adiraj, who has also written the film, introduces interesting elements into the narration, such as the movie references. He is a bit nervous in the love sequences and sports a blank look when anything else is demanded.
The pick of the cast is Rakul Preet, who after a minor outing in 'Thadaiyara Thaakka', stands out as an actor to watch out for. Playing the role of Divya, a TV reporter and news anchor, she does a confident job and is a treat to watch. Also among the young cast is Sanjay Bharathi, son of actor-director Santhanabharathi, w
