Story: Jai (Prabhas), an architect based in Italy meets Manasa (Richa Gangopadhyay) and woos her. Manasa is the daughter of a dreaded factionist based in Palnadu. Jai befriends her brother and moves in to their house. But Jai has more than love on his mind.
Movie Review: The whole is greater than the sum of its parts, suggests Gestalt psychology, a school of thought that formed the cornerstone of understanding of human perception in the 20th century. Max Wertheimer, one of the pioneers of the idea believed that the "whole" is not determined by its individual parts, but the individual elements themselves are determined by the intrinsic nature of the whole. The idea can be very handy in understanding the why big star Telugu films are the way they are.
In the context of this movie, the whole refers to Prabhas, and the individual elements correspond to everything else that goes into making the movie - the script, sub plots, cast, music, technicalities etc. The hero is supreme after all and that much this film manages to accomplish, kudos to the filmmakers.
