After Kalavani and Vaagai Sooda Vaa, director Sargunam joins hands with actor Dhanush for his third film. The movie has been titled Sottavalakutty. Producing the film is Kathiresan, who had made films like Aadukalam and Polladhavan with Dhanush before.
Dhanush will be seen as a youth who makes bronze lamps for a living in Kumbakonam and he falls in love with a dentist in the film. A heroine hunt is still on. Vamsikrishna plays the baddie.
Nasser, Shayaji Shinde, Suri, Singam Puli, Sriman and Sathyan will be seen in this flick. Gibraan of Vaagai Sooda Vaa fame will compose the music while Vaali and Arivumathi pen the lyrics.
Shooting will go on floors in September end in Kumbakonam. The latest is that the makers are planning to release Sottavalakutty in February
