Cast: Srihari, Brahmanandam, Raghu Babu, Duvvasi Mohan, M S Narayana, Ali, Dharmavarapu Subramanyam, Tanikella BharaniDirection: CSR KrishnanGenre: Comedy
Story: Mumbai's don Baba Bhai holds several people hostage in Mumtaz cafe in the Old city of Hyderabad. A bomb is ticking under his chair and will explode the moment he gets up. He can neither save himself nor will he allow the others to leave the place so that they could be safe. But Baba Bhai is desparate to escape death which so mockingly stares in his face. Will he survive?
Movie Review: Baba Bhai (Srihari) rules an underworld empire but he cannot help pay a visit to his favourite cafe whenever he makes a trip to Hyderabad because that is where his life took off. Even this time, he comes to Mumtaz cafe and walks right into the CBI which is looking for him. But all that the CBI officer Brahmanandam has is a photograph of Bhai when he was a kid. So, even when he gets talking to him, he can hardly realise that it is the very Bhai that the premier agency has been looking for.
Since it's Brahmanandam there on the screen, you would naturally expect something he'd do that would make you laugh. He does, and it all looks so silly. If that wasn't enough you have a whole lot of other comedians, including Ali and Dharmavarapu Subramanyam, who do a better job of putting you to sleep than enjoy their wit.
The worst part of the movie is the climax, which actually, is an anti climax.
