Cast: Varun Sandesh, Kamal Jha, RakshitaDirection: Trinadha Rao NakkinaGenre: RomanceDuration: 2 hours 22 minutes
Story: Varun (Varun Sandesh) owns a retail showroom in Rajahmundry. Kundana (Komal Jha), a college goer, falls in love with Varun at the first sight and proposes. Although, Varun initially rejects, he accepts Kundana. When Kundana gets a job in US, Varun insists her not to go. Why does Varun force Kundana to stay in India? The answers lie in a flashback.
Movie Review: The film has shades of yesteryear classics like Premalekha, Majnu and several other films and there's nothing novel in the theme. Director Trinadha Rao failed to pen an appealing script to engage the audience in a romantic story. The age-old plot is made worse by tardy execution.
There are so many inherent glitches in the plot that makes it difficult for audiences to connect and becomes yet another rom-com that doesn't quite take off. The conflict point (break-up) was not strongly established by the director, and the after the interval, things get even more bizarre.
The saving grace for the film is performance of the lead pair - Varun Sandesh and Haasika. Varun carried his role with a sense of elegance and youthfulness and Haasika looks traditional and has put up a decent show as well.
For a rom-com that comes with an underlyng message, dialogues are the key but there aren't any noteworthy lines in this one. On paper,
