He swears revenge against Sadhu Bhai (Kelly), the mafia kingpin who lords over south East Asia. He in filtrates the international mafia syndicate posing as Baadshah, the estranged son of Rajan (Mukesh), a trusted aide of Sadhu.
Movie Review: Roger Ebert, the Pulitzer Prize winning film critic - widely regarded as the most influential film critic ever - passed away on Thursday, without ever reviewing a single Telugu film. Alas, the world will never know what he'd have to say about our brand of cinema. Except for the Brahmanandam's Inception-inspired comedy track, Roger surely would have struggled to make sense of the best jokes in Baadshah. And this movie is all about the gags, but you would need to have the IQ of the venerable Nandamuri fan to appreciate them.
For the non fans we have MS Narayana playing a very Ram Gopal Varma inspired character - Revenge Nageshwar Rao - in the first half and Brahmanandam getting slapped countless times in the second half. There some funny references about Dil Raju, Siddharth, and some banal Telugu movie trivia as well.
