Cast: Arjun, Vemal, Cheran, Lasini, Muktha Banu, Surveen, Thambi RamaiahDirection: S M vasanthGenre: RomanceDuration: 2 hours 30 minutes
Synopsis: The movie is about Varun (Vemal) and Anjana (Lasini), and the choices that Varun makes with regard to this relationship drawing on what he has imbibed from the relationships of his friends.
Movie Review: Varun, a chartered accountant, helps Anjana find work in his father's firm after he is smitten by her. Though Anjana is not interested in a relationship as she is trying to deal with a failed engagement, she falls for Varun's charms. It is at this point that Varun realizes Anjana is not the right person for him. Vemal as Varun is far from convincing as he fails to capture the urban leanings of his character. He tries his hand at a character that he has experimented with in movies such as Ishtam, but fails to impress yet again. The chemistry is sorely missing in the Vemal-Lasini pair. Director Vasanth tries to charm the audience with humour in this segment of the three-part love story, but it largely falls flat.
The movie then introduces us to the story of Gunasekhar (Cheran) and Mallika ( Muktha Banu), which engages us in terms of its intensity. This love story traces the life of Mallika, a physiotherapist, who falls in love with Guna, a social worker who helps with the rehabilitation of ex-convicts. This is the
most mature relationship that the movie explores and works best,
