Critic's Rating:
Cast: Sri, Supraja, Mast Ali, Rahul, Satish
Direction: Sajid Qureshi
Duration: 2 hours 18 minutes
Story: Over a game of cricket Vijay (Sri) sustains a head injury resulting in temporary memory loss. He is due to get married in a couple of days with the love of his life, Sandhya (Supraja). Vijay, however, has no memory of Sandhya (Supraja) or his impeding marriage.
Movie Review: The plot is inspired - rather a remake of the Tamil blockbuster Naduvula Konjem Pakkatth Kaanum - but the execution is lame. What we have is a movie that isn't as funny as the title which translates as - a few pages are missing in the book. The "missing pages" are a metaphor for what the protagonist forgets due to a slip up in a cricket field. While running backwards to take a catch, Vijay suffers a head injury that wipes out all memories of his fiancee, Sandhya from his brain.
Worried, his buddies - Siva (Rahul), Balaji (Satish) and Saleem (Mast Ali) take him to a doctor but to no avail. So they decide to get the guy married nevertheless without letting the parents and his in-laws getting to know, triggering of a funny sequence of events.
For a plotline like that to work, it will need some witty writing, good acting and plenty of situational comedy. Unfortunately the movie only has Mast Ali. The adorable Saleem Pheku of Angrez manages to strike a few funny chords with his Hyderabadi act,
