Synopsis: After his father's untimely death, Kannan (Jayabala), an affluent young man, is hounded by a rival landlord (Rajesh) who wants to completely run him into the ground. Will Kannan be able to stand up to his adversary? Review: Once in a while, Tamil cinema treats us to a movie that is a reminder it is possible to make films that not only hit rock bottom but also plunge even further. This phenomenally dull film is a timely warning to loaded individuals who think they can make a film just because they have the cash. There is literally no story to speak of in the first half (the second half is only marginally better) with characters randomly stumbling onto the scene to utter a few lines and disappear. Veterans like MS Viswanathan, KR Vijaya and Rajesh must want to do a memory wipe after being part of this tedious film with no script to speak of whatsoever. It is so ineptly directed, shoddily shot and badly acted that it sets a new pinnacle for truly dreadful filmmaking. Its only contribution to Tamil cinema might be in making Power Star Srinivasan and Sam Anderson look like respectable performers, if you go by the performance of its lead actor.
