Cast: Charmme, Rahul, Saranya, Sony Charishta, Rao Ramesh, Satish, Ravi
Direction: Chandu
Genre: Drama
Duration: 2 hours 10 minutes
Synopsis: An aspiring lyricist, Lalith (Rahul) loses his eye sight in a car accident caused by Mallika (Charmme), a call girl's negligent driving. Overcome by guilt, Mallika gets him admitted in a hospital and takes him home to tend to him personally, until he's ready for an eye-transplant. She falls in love with him only to discover that Lalith is in love with an aspiring singer, Swathi (Saranya).
Movie Review: A musical love story between a prostitute, a writer and a singer goes the tag line of the movie. In a matter of fact figurative way, it does seem like a pretty accurate sales pitch. It's only after watching the movie that you'd realize, you were sold a dummy - read as the prospect of watching Charmme playing a prostitute for the first time ever. Not only is it a terrible film, it even fails to titillate. By the way, the prostitute dies.
The movie is just loaded with melodrama. When Mallika goes to the hospital to confess to a blind Lalith that she was responsible for the accident, the guy thanks her for giving him with a whole new perspective to life! How Mallika falls in love with Lalith, a self confessed virgin, is even more ridiculous. Lalith sings a song that raves about the greatness of womankind.
