Not many need intro about Brand Amrutham. This one of the most popular Telugu-language soaps ever stands out for the chemistry shared by Amrutha Rao and Anji, the all-weather friends, whose very artless nature is their biggest undoing because of the ever-so-cunning Appaji. Add to these three, the character of the Tamilian Sarvam, whose loyalty to his masters and unfailing ability to pull off funny gaffes was another of the soap’s raison d’ etre. As Gunnam Gangaraju translates the small-screen wonder on to the big screen, he gets it all wrong, forgetting that much as ‘Amrutham’ was popular for its uniqueness, the brand needed an innovative rehashing so as to make it look distinctive
