We are looking for a candidate who has experience with configuring and maintaining UNIX (Solaris, LINUX), Windows systems to provide high-performance computing capabilities through clusters and workstations for a software engineering environment. Support for these high available systems will be required 24x7. Individual will also be required to document many existing and on going project solutions. This is a full-time regular position located in our Hyderabad office.Should be able to support a large group of users.
Desired Profile Qualified individuals should have extensive experience in UNIX/Windows Platforms and wide ranging experience in technologies like Netapp Filers, SUN clusters, Windows clusters, Data centre equipment, Networking etc. Should have excellent trouble shooting skills and customer support experience.
In-depth knowledge of Solaris systems, Red Hat Linux kickstart installation process. Advanced PERL and Shell scripting skills. Minimum three to five years of large environment System Administration with experience of handling a large user group. Knowledge of infrastructure development and deployment techniques. Batch queuing technologies such as LSF is very helpful and experience in a clustered Linux/Windows environment is also highly desired. Should be highly proficient in Windows technologies. Strong communications and project management skills. Must be a self-starter, team player. Experience in handling HP Servers
