Group: Enterprise Manager Product testing
Desired Profile:
QA team is responsible for two products - Deployment&config and Enterprise Manager, both are Java based products. Deployment&Config products focus on complete deployment life cycle: deployment, config, upgrade, patching, deinstall etc. on a single machine, Real application cluster (RAC) env and also Grid env. Enterprise Manager manages database instances and the nodes on the enterprise.
QA work involves understanding of these products, coming up with test scenarios that cover the functionality well and finally automating the test scenarios into scripts. Majority of the QA work involves development of test cases so that they can be run in an automated fashion on a daily basis. Development of test cases and automation work involves perl, shell scripts and Java. QA team member should have strong CS fundamentals, be knowledgeable in programming and OO concepts. Knowledge of RDBMS is desirable.
Key skills: Unix, perl or shell scripting. Knowledge of java desirable.
