We are seeking a highly motivated individual to be responsible for improvement in test automation using TCL and TCL/tk to drive our use of IXIA and Spirent test platforms. This person helps in identifying the test cases to be automated and develop scripts to automate the test cases and will be part of a team that tests and validates networking products. Will be responsible for the design, development, maintenance, testing, and quality and performance assurance of automated testing thru commercial platforms. Networking skills will help you understand the requirements of the products we test.
Position will require in depth knowledge of TCL and networking fundamentals. The optimum candidate would also have a strong understanding of various routing protocols.
Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine the best method for accomplishing test and achieving objectives, recognizing change issues from current processes.
Proven ability to work cross functionally to drive the implementation of new features as well as resolve operational issues.
Excellent oral/written communication skills.
