| |
Owns all quality related aspects at the business unit Quality Control, Quality Assurance, QMS, Certifications, etc.
Collect and publish organization wide metrics for different functional areas that includes project execution.
Candidate should have the follwoing skills and work experience in:
1. Quality Control
Establish and implement Quality control processes across the organization.
Define, implement and fine-tune suitable quality control methods as applicable to the business unit.This would include (but not limited to) what types of tests are required in what kind of projects / service / work (optional and mandatory tests), examine effectiveness of such tests, determine how those tests shall be carried out, who shall do the testing at what point/s of time, what kind of tools and technques will be used, how the results will be interpreted, what corrective actions are required, etc.
Design, implement and fine-tune defect prevention measures.
Manage the QC team.
Build Quality awareness / consciousness across the organization.
Training in areas related to Quality control, usage of tools and techniques.
2. Quality Assurance / QMS / Certifications.
Ensure that processes are defined, reviewed and fine-tuned for all activities within the Business unit SSI
QMS owns and maintains process repository.
Define, implement and fine-tune methods to capture data relating to process non-compliance.
Manage SQA function.
Manage the QA team.
Training all members of the organization in QMS.
Ensure renewal of certifications ISO and CMM from time to time. This would involve understanding the certifications requirements, implementing necessary changes to meet the requirements by working with various stakeholders, ensure orgnaizational preparedness to go through assessments, liaison and co-ordination with certification agencies and final certification / renewal.
