| |
? Well versed in one or more of the following protocols: 802.1ad, 802.3ad, Metro Ethernet Bridging, MPLS, PWE3, STP/RSTP, RMON1/2, TCP/IP.
? Knowledge of the Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) standards
? Hands on experience designing, implementing, and integrating embedded firmware for communications products
? Experience working with real-time debugging & profiling tools
? Familiarity with the Motorola Power PC family of microprocessors
? Experience working with redundant systems
? Extensive experience with Intelligent Switch Solution (ISS) workgroup or other L2/L3 switching and routing solutions software packages
? Ability to interface with and write microcode for Network Processors - preferably the Xelerated X11
? Experience working with QoS and traffic management chips - preferably the Dune FAP20
? Proficient in C/C++
? Real time operating systems vxWorks/Linux |
