Description : |
| |
This role will require you to create technical documentation for the engineering department. The following are the job responsibilities:
Research, write, edit, and update software documentation
Write documentation for a variety of audiences, including business users, developers, and system administrators
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of technical writers, software developers, quality assurance engineers, program managers, and product marketing personnel
Coordinate work with other technical writers, allowing the technical writers to serve as mentors
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to effectively analyse multiple sources of information
Ability to produce clear, concise technical and user documentation based on technical input from software developers.
Must be able to make complex technical ideas accessible to non-technical audiences
Ability to balance multiple tasks
Ability to handle tight schedules and meet deadlines
Ability to communicate well with team members from a variety of roles in the organization
Ability to learn and follow new processes, including the Agile scrum process
Ability to follow directions, but have the potential to become a self-directed team member
