Description : |
| |
· Have overall responsibility for the IT team in India.
· Provide technical leadership in the management, administration and maintenance of the organizations servers, workstations, internal business applications and telecommunications systems and oversee end-user support.
· Manage the IT infrastructure and plan for its continued growth and expansion based upon utilization and requirements.
· Oversee the functioning of the network and systems teams and ensure continuous proactive monitoring of the network.
· Oversee the functioning of the system administration team and ensure routine processes such as establishment of user accounts on company systems servers and system back-ups are undertaken in an efficient and effective manner.
· Collaborate with network administrators and global infrastructure teams to identify areas of weakness in the organization's network architecture and take remedial action.
· Oversee company helpdesk and the process for troubleshooting problems relating to hardware, software and PC computer systems.
· Track user perceptions of IT support through the use of appropriate metrics.
· Analyze IT reports to anticipate problem areas on account of capacity and support constraints and initiate proactive action.
· Direct and oversee selection, acquisition, installation, implementation, modification, monitoring, problem determination and resolution of vendor-supplied software and/or hardware.
· Determine and write standards and procedures for technical functions.
· Maintain accurate and current documentation on server and workstation configurations and a complete inventory of corporate hardware and software assets.
· Establish and implement tactical and strategic plans for IT; develop and manage associated budgets.
