| |
Technical:
Understand the customer functional requirement and conceive high level and low level (technical) design using the latest Internet technologies specifically J2EE (Java / JSP / EJB / WSDL / XML etc.)
Must have experience in development of large software systems / Software products starting from understanding customer requirement to deployment utilizing various SDLC methods
Must possess legacy system integration experience in the Web - to - Legacy integration area and have experience in deployment of solutions using either Weblogic or Websphere
Possess adequate exposure in the database usage preferably Oracle.
Hands – on technical person, who feels comfortable coding and reviewing code
Managerial:
· Interface with end users/ customers and the software development teams and ensure timely delivery
· Track the software projects against the schedules and take corrective actions on any possible slippages.
· Motivate the team and ensure high productivity levels
· Constant look out for enhancement of productivity through innovative usage of tools, etc.
· Look for business opportunity by coming up with ideas to improve customers’ existing systems
Quality Experience:
· Facilitate and monitor implementation of Quality Management Systems in projects: support and supervise adherence to standards, procedures, policies as defined in QMS.
· Educate the team members on software quality management systems and initiate process improvements during the development process
· Proactive planning and effective identification of risks to projects and managing the same
