| |
Responsibilities:
Perform technical support of complex customer problems in complex environments as a member of a highly skilled, highly motivated, excellence striving team
Maintain an advanced technical understanding of product suite as well as our competitor's products and technologies
Provide technical expertise in specific areas
Will be directly involved in customer calls
Will be called upon to provide troubleshooting assistance
May work with Product Management to understand competition as well as provide input for keeping product technically ahead of competition
Knowledge and Skill:
Must possess a thorough knowledge of all areas of software development
Must possess the proven ability to solve complex problems and grasp a large and complex code base
Must have the following technical experience:
Worked in large enterprise Windows Environments
Exposure to large scale SAN environments essential
Good networking infrastructure experience
Microsoft Exchange deployment, management, and troubleshooting experience
Microsoft Active Directory deployment, management, and troubleshooting experience
Microsoft Cluster Server deployment, management, and troubleshooting experience
Microsoft SQL Server deployment, management, and troubleshooting experience
Microsoft WinPE (or RIS) or Altiris deployment environments
In-depth ability to analyze MPS & Windows Kernel Dump files
Proficiency in C/C++ skills
Practical Experience of analysing performance problems and/or performance tuning are vital
Practical experience with Windebug
In-depth knowledge of Windows internals
Demonstrable client/server architecture and design skills
Demonstrable database programming skills, with knowledge of at least one database access API (e.g. ADO.NET)
