The candidate should have at 2-5 years experience in Postgre Database administration.
The job responsibilities are as follows :
1. Installation of Software and Patches
2. Creation of Database
3. Backup and Recovery Practices
4. Continuous monitoring of the database server and OS
5. Performance planning
6. Performance tuning
7. Capacity Planning
8. Continuous maintenance of server
9. Monitoring the trace logs
10. Process management
11. Migration of Databases, Cloning and implementation of Data Guard
12. Database Administration scripts
13. User creation, grants and privileges
