| |
The Sr. Configuration/Release Engineer is responsible for coordinating software configuration management and releases preparations of the software for QC/UAT/production.
General responsibilities
Coordination and administration of Configuration Management activities related to planning, identification, control, reviewing and status reporting
Release Preparation of software for QC/UAT/Production Releases
Manage build procedures and implement utilities to automate Software Configuration Management processes
Assist in finding ways to automate and streamline the release process
Assist in defining software configuration management standards, guidelines, processes, procedures, and analyze procedures and processes to continually make improvements
Assist, train and support users of configuration management and source control software
Coordinate the releases from multiple development locations
The candidate will be required to work for 2-3 months onsite and then travel back to offshore - Mumbai |
