No. of Positions: 5
Location: Chennai
As a C++ professional you will be part of a team which will develop systems to help the rail-based freight, passenger, and metropolitan rail transit customers increase the safety, capacity, reliability, and efficiency of their operations. To accomplish this mission, you will be involved in the design, manufacture of the systems and products that signal, automate, control, and manage rail-based traffic.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
* Education: 4 year Bachelor's degree
* 4 plus years of C++ experience pref on a Large scale development project
* Strong understanding and experience with Unix
* Experience with Distributed Systems
* Understanding of Design Patterns
* Understanding of UML diagrams
* Strong analytical and communication skills.
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:
* Exposure to Database Based applications (SQL knowledge)
* Exposure to UNIX Communication programming (TCP/IP, sockets etc)
* Exposure to X windows programming
* Should have enough initiative to learn a complex system by going through a variety of documentation and reading live code.
* Strong understanding and experience with multi-platform development.
