| |
Candidate must have four to five years of experience in the life and/or financial services industry, business consulting or technical consulting.
Works on small- to medium-sized projects, usually involving single-product or single computer environments where design is moderately complex.
Performs configuration tasks on multiple major system components.
Interviews clients during requirements gathering exercises and documents findings in a Business Systems Requirements (BSR) or Business Requirements Definition Document (BRD).
Authors functional specifications from limited BSR(s), or with no BSR(s), through independent discussions with customers. Authors functional specifications
Estimates time frames, quality and quantity of resources required to successfully implement project; assists in developing project plan incorporating all project variables.
Provides periodic status checks with customers and team to assess progress against plan.
Performs re-forecasts of project variables as necessary throughout project.
Prepares status reports, as needed, on all project activities.
May create and execute enhancement and system level test plans.
May provide support to customer’s test efforts.
< 20% Serves as intermediate-level pre-sales and post-sales support specialist when needed.
<10% Acts as a liaison between customers and company.
