| |
Experience with triggers, stored procedures, RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, PeopleSoft Infrastructure, Unix Administration, monitoring and diagnostic tools (Oracle OEM, and Glance) will all be considered plusses. Along with the requisite technical skills, the candidate should have the attention to detail that accompanies hands on problem resolution. Candidate must have the ability to explain complex problems in simple terms to team members in written and verbal formats.
The candidate should have a minimum of 5-10+ years of experience performing Oracle V8, V8i, and V9i Database Administration tasks in a Unix environment including database creation, monitoring, tuning and problem resolution. Preference will be given to candidates with advanced replication and HP-UX experience. Experience in supporting UDB databases will be considered a strong plus.
