| |
The seledted candidate will perform the following tasks:
- Application program design, coding, and testing in an IBM mainframe environment
- Code development, testing, and implementation based on program specifications that address the business need in the agreed-upon time frame
- Coding, unit testing, documentation, and code walk-throughs.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements.
Selected candidate must have a minimum of 5 years recent extensive experience writing code using Websphere MQ in COBOL programs and 10 years of recent experience in the design and coding of batch and CICS COBOL programs, using VSAM files. The selected candidate must also have at least 3 years experience with a TSO/ISPF development environment using Endevor.
Additional necessary skills include proven communications, both written and verbal, the ability to take direction as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team on assigned tasks
