The position will be a part of the Oracle Application Administration team, and be expected to take part in the configuration, planning, and rollout of Oracle Manufacturing, Projects and Services. The position responsibility also includes: Oracle Applications Disaster Recovery, Backup and Restore, Security, Change Management, Operations Policy and Procedures, Documentation, Capacity planning, Performance Management. Also, Patch management and instance management in collaboration with the database team. The candidate should have a broad knowledge of Oracle applications, and application management as well as supporting UNIX knowledge. Knowledge of, and experience in, global support methodologies is preferred.
The candidate should be knowledgeable in Oracle applications such as Manufacturing, Services, Projects, and iStore. DBA type knowledge is not as pertinent, but is a plus.
