| |
At lease 3 yrs exp within the past 6 yrs developing software using Java in the middle tier or 3 - or-n-tier applications.
Exp working with one or more Java frameworks such as Spring.
Exp. Developing and deploying Internet-facing applications using Apache and Tomcat on Linux servers.
General exp developing applications involving databases, with Oracle and MySQL expertise preferred.
Exp. Working with XML technologies,including XSLT,XSchema,and XQuery.
Exp. Working with open source technologies and finding appropriate open source solutions to problems.
Exp. Working with Lucene indexing engine.
Exp working with metadata harvesting, indexing, and searching.
Exp. developing applications in Java which retrieve data from systems using FTP protocols.
Good written and spoken communications skills.
The candidate will be required to write documentation for the code that candidate develops, develop code from written requirements, and develop requirement statements from verbal communications with other team members
