Ø This opening is for an IBM AIX systems administration in the Card Services Marketing/Credit/Finance environment.
Ø Administrator will be responsible for basic run-the-engine tasks, software installations, upgrades and license verifications, fault detection, escalation and repair, assisting developers with code rollout and operational troubleshooting, performance metrics collection, analysis, and actions related to the analysis, planning upgrades, maintenance, tech refreshes, migrations, and/or consolidations across the environment, defining opportunities to increase operational efficiency and acting on those opportunities, and overall system availability.
Ø Administrator will also be responsible for compliance with all company security, audit, and change management policies and procedures.
Ø Administrator must carry on-call pager in 7x24 team rotation and manage all issues that arise during period of on-call responsibility to resolution.
Ø Candidate must be able to interface with multiple leadership levels, including first-line technical and business managers through senior officers.
Ø Candidate must also be able to clearly communicate on the telephone and in writing.
Ø Occasional travel is required (1-5 consecutive days) for training or disaster recovery exercises.

Ø Must have Disaster Recovery experience
Ø Must have LPAR
Ø IBM AIX hardware and OS administration, shell scripting, advanced troubleshooting, knowledge of SAN technologies, TSM/HSM a plus, file system/printing/mail system/user management, performance and security management.
