| |
The candidate will provide 24x7 operational support, second level triage and project support to the bank's business applications, job scheduling, file transfers, and data loads.
Ø This includes: code promotion, incident management (problem determination and recovery), user management, security access and controls, work order management, event console management, job scheduling and execution, file and database table management, transfer/load/extract data management, workload management, output management, media management, and application wellness checks, performance management, capacity management, application and business data recovery, business continuity (BCP), and disaster recovery (DR).
Ø Develop and document process flow detailing functions and accountabilities. Identification of areas where efficiencies can be gained using proactive approach through collection and analysis of metrics. Automation of various operational functions. The candidate must be willing and eligible for conversion at the time of acceptance.
Ø Due to the structure of the production service support team (24x7) the candidate needs to understand the shift they will be assigned before being accepted. Examples: There are basically 3-shifts: Nightshift ranging anywhere from Monday through Sunday, swingshift anywhere from Monday through Sunday, and dayshift anywhere from Monday through Sunday. The candidates will work for 1-hours days with 3-days off depending on their fixed schedule the 3-days off could be anywhere from Monday through Sunday.
