| |
Five to seven years experience in Java analysis required including the following:
· Analysis, design and coding on presentation/business/data layers
· 2-3 year’s data base experience on DB2 UDB (& Oracle preferred)
· Excellent knowledge of JAVA, JSP, JDBC, EJB, DAO Framework, Struts, Weblogic, DB2/UDB, Hibernate / Spring, PL/SQL, SQL, Version Control Tools
· Knowledge of these is a plus: CVS, Eclipse, MQ, and Filenet
· Must be strong with design concepts
· Can work well independently and with teams
· Strong work ethic
· Ready to learn new skills
· Good estimation skills
The candidate must be able to demonstrate more than just a basic level of knowledge of the aforementioned technologies; he or she must be able explain when a technology is appropriate for use and when it is inappropriate. We want to see that the developer can apply the technologies to a given situation.
