| |
Intel Windows 2003 server builds and deployments supporting application servers.
* Application migrations with data copies from another company to be integrated into the company infrastructure.
* Support of operating system and software running in data center on 120 servers.
* Support server imaging technology for consolidation and virtualization of server farm to VMWare instances.
* Managing the upgrade of servers, software and maintaining backup and recovery procedures.
* Monitoring servers for hardware break-fix and coordinating problems with centralized help desk.
* Optimizing server and application performance, capacity planning analysis on hardware and storage system.
* Support of Citrix farms supporting worldwide user access to Corporate Trust applications.
* Requirement for overlapping shift work Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 9 PM, and Saturday from 7 AM to 3 PM UAT testing by end users |

5+Years experience supporting Windows server environments
* Experience managing a Windows 2000, or Windows 2003 server environment
* Advanced knowledge of Windows 2000, Windows 2003
* Solid understanding and support of large DNS, WINS, and DHCP networks
* Advanced troubleshooting skills on SQL7/SQL2000, SMS, IIS, and MSCS
* Strong experience with Citrix and VMWare server virtualization
* Experience with server security, upgrades and deployment of security and operating system patches
* Solid scripting experience with VB, WSH, WMI and ADSI a major plus |
