Experience: 5 Years w/ Application software Design
Responsibility * Candidate will be responsible for development of leading edge mixed signal biometric fingerprint recognition systems. Responsibilities includes architecture and technical specification development of fingerprint capture and recognition software, software design processes including program target definition (size and performance), coding, verification and working with the system design team for bring-up and debug of fingerprint verification systems.
Skills * Candidate should have minimum 5 years in application software development preferably with ARM core processor and Symbian or Linux operating system. Candidate should be experienced in fingerprint capture, enhancing and matching algorithms.
Candidate should have good knowledge of embedded microprocessor environment limitations and be comfortable with high performance mixed-signal circuits and systems including ADC/DAC*s, high-performance I/O, digital I/O (USB, SPI, Parallel).
Embedded software experience is a plus.
Ideal candidate should have strong hardware knowledge and be comfortable working with hardware teams to integrate software and achieve overall system objectives. Experience with C/C++, assembler ??? simulation tools??? Is required. Experience with emulators*is a plus.
