Description : |
| |
Administer infrastructure and systems software for e-government web-based applications.
* Plan, test, and execute hardware and system software upgrades.
* Work with Software developers to setup, maintain and troubleshoot environments.
* Present recommendations on improvements to environment to contract management and client
* Create, modify, delete accounts to authorize access to web-based applications
* Maintain assigned systems at required levels of availability to meet service level agreements by monitoring performance and performing needed system upgrades.
* Report on capacity of systems and recommend upgrades as needed.
* Resolve system problems on a 24x7 basis as required by SLA's.
* Report to management on a regular basis on status of activities.
* Adhere to contract standard operating procedures

Required : |
| |
Minimum of six years working in a production environment supporting a large-scale web-based infrastructure applications with a 24x7 mission-critical requirement
* Six years experience administering web servers (iplanet) and application managers (Tomcat, ColdFusion, JRun, SunOne Application Server), Google and K2Verity search engines.
* Knowledge of LDAP protocol and related tools such as Netscape Directory Server 4.1
* Experience in high-availability for web infrastructure such as web and application manager load balancing.
* Experience with setup, configuration, and report generationof web trending tools such as WebTrends
* Working knowledge of scripting language such as PERL or Unix scripting
* Expert knowledge of Solaris operation system
* Working technical knowledge of TCP/IP networking and Internet connectivity
