UPDATE FROM MANAGER:
I'm looking for someone who's more senior with 8+ years of experience, 10+ would be great. Since it's difficult to find both .net and Sharepoint, I'm now relaxing on the Sharepoint experience but the candidate needs to be strong in .NET and c# , someone who can work independently and deploy the application as well as learning Sharepoint 2007 which will be used for the project.
Group Overview:
The Asset Management Technology (AMT) group provides application development and support services to the Asset Management Products and Services (AMPS) organization. We support applications on various technology platforms: mainframe, J2EE and .NET.
The position is for the STAP (Client Trade Activity Portal) application. It runs on WebLogic/Linux platform using Oracle with a .NET/Sharepoint 2007 front end.
Position Responsibilities:
The individual will be a tech lead and developer for the SEC Rule 22c-2 project, responsible for the analysis, coding, testing, documentation and implementation of the development. He/She will work closely with the project team and other technology organizations to design and implement quality system solutions that meet business requirements and are consistent with the overall technical strategy.
The individual will need to be a team player, flexible, and excellent communication skills to interact with business partners and offshore resources. A successful candidate should have 9+ years in comparable position in development, the ability to analyze complex business & system requirements and provide detailed design and technical solutions to meet the business requirements. The candidate will develop software designs, complete coding and testing, prepare software components for installation, and support all phases of the development lifecycle. Knowledge of Client systems, RUP methodology and/or Mutual Fund Trading is a plus.
