This will be the “right hand” person to the manager and will need to have current SAS programming experience but also experience with modeling, campaign execution and data base marketing background. Also, this person will be involved in client interaction about 20-30% of the time and need to bring a consultative approach rather than just be an order taker. Soft skills are very important in that initiative, and decision making skills.
The roll will need a person with traits such as a “can do” attitude and trial & error approach with in an analytical environment.
Relevant background can be from companies such as Target, Wells Fargo, HSBC
