The System Administrator (SA) supports setup, implementation and integration of the Business Objects Unix & Windows platforms. The SA is responsible for working with the business and infrastructure team to ensure system and business requirements are defined and met. This role will also be working with other IT areas to define system requirements, use case development, and conceptual and logical modeling.
The SA understands the technology and business environments, application and process capabilities, and architectural constraints, and is capable of leveraging and successfully applying this information to bring the best solution forward.
The SA works closely with Business Representatives (BR) and Analysts (BTA, BA), Application Architects (AA), Data Analysts (DAN) and Vendor Software Developers (SD) to provide analytical support to ensure system and business requirements are clearly documented and understood in relation to system and application maintenance, upgrades and vendor enhancements.
The SA owns and manages system requirements and will support business requirement definition. The SA participates in the overall design and development of the technology solution.
The SA must understand the fundamentals of supporting system hardware and software. Work closely with the infrastructure teams to understand enterprise roll outs of code changes. Basic knowledge of enterprise change management process in a mid to large size environment.
The SA needs to work with the business to drive out any business or system requirements and make the appropriate system configuration changes. The SA needs to work closely with the QA\QC team to document, test and support any system enhancements.

3+ years of systems and/or business analysis or design experience in application support and development.
3+ years experience supporting and administering Business Objects Unix & Widows based systems.
3+ years SQL & Oracle Server project database administration.
2+ years experience in corporate administration in an NT server environment.
2+ years experience working in a multiple server environment and following change management policies and producers.
No less then 5 years total IT experience
