| |
Comfortable working with a lightweight methodology that morphs from one project to the next
· Firm grasp of object-oriented design and programming practices
· Experience modeling data for RDBMS
· Top-drawer analytical and communications skills
· Able to produce concise design documentation, including UML diagrams where necessary
· Experience with automated unit and functional testing tools, and the ability to write and execute test plans
· Dazzling optimization and debugging techniques
3-5 years of experience with:
· Java (1.4)
· JSP (1.2) and Servlets (2.3)
· SQL and JDBC
· XML
· CVS, Subversion, or similar very necessary
1-2 years experience with:
· Hibernate must have, they are core technologies on their projects (these are KEY aspects)
· Spring
· Jakarta Log4j
· Apache Ant
· Database views, triggers, and stored procedures more nice to have than necessary
Exposure to the following on at least two projects:
· Java 5 features (annotations, generics, autoboxing)
· Servlet 2.4 and JSP 2.0 features ideal to have
· SOAP or REST-based web services
