| |
The software engineer creates and maintains the Oracle 10g and Informatica Extraction-Transformation-Load (ETL) processes and required scripts to control data migration from the source applications to the target systems. Executes all data migration programs and loads, verifies the data has been migrated to the satisfaction.
1. Write & review technical design documents for DM components
2. Creates Extraction-Transformation-Load (ETL) processes and required scripts to control data migration from the source applications to the target systems using established tools.
3. Create shell scripts to control the ETL processes when necessary
4. Executes data migration programs and fine tunes the code and improves the performance of the Informatica, Firstlogic and eliminates the bottlenecks.
5. Provides better performance managment techniques using Oracle 8i & Oracle 10g relational DB systems.
6. Oversee load results and trouble shoot load issues to the staging database & target file system
7. Executes data load utilities of the target systems as needed
8. Support unit testing the DM components
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary. Candidate should have 6+ years experience |
